I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling at Arizona State University. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with adolescents, adults and hispanic community. I also am a certified trauma therapist and provide a safe, nonjudgmental approach that foster encouragement that promotes change. I utilize evidence-based treatment to help you achieve your potential and help you to become the person you were called to be.
I provide a multicultural lens that allows you to express yourself through your cultural beliefs without judgment. I am bilingual and can provide therapy in Spanish.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. I will assist you in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying your thinking.

EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING
EMDR is an information processing therapy that helps you cope with trauma, addictions, and phobias. During this treatment, you will focuses on a specific thought, image, emotion, or sensation while simultaneously watching the therapist's finger or baton move in front of his or her eyes. It's like being on a train; an emotion or a thought may come up and you will let it pass as though you were looking out the window of the moving train.
